I spent far too much of the winter of 1983-1984 devising an AD&D campaign built around the War of Gelemnan Succession. Considerably more time than I ever spent running it. These days about all that survives is the name. For several years any time I filled out a form that called for a company, I used Gelemna Development. My first domain was gelemna.ft-wayne.in.us. Gelemna.org carries on the tradition.

It's a personal domain of course. While it seems that everybody has one nowadays, I mainly wanted one so I could control my own mail and hang meaningful hostnames on my FreeBSD boxes. I occasionally host mailing lists or do mail forwarding for friends, but basically I'm the sole user. And, of course, once I had it something had to be done to fill that empty web space....

I'm a dabbler by nature. This site contains what personal information I feel like making public, pages devoted to projects, past and present, that seem to call for one and the obligatory link collection. It gets updated whenever I get the urge to do it.

I'm not interested in generating traffic. I don't want to buy anything from you. I may want to sell you something, but I'm not going to advertise. Anyone interested will find their way to me.
