  • Finally had a chance to look at form code. With a couple of trivial changes, it passes Tidy. If you have any problems, let me know.
  • Two people have contributed logos. If you'd like to use one of them, they can be found here.
  • Added a "don't infringe on copyrights" clause to the guidelines.

  • I've had a report that using the form on this page crashes Netscape. Until I can rewrite it in valid HTML, it might be safer to use the form at Ringsurf.
  • It's also been reported that AOL's mail reader wants to render the HTML snippet that Ringsurf sends to new sites rather than presenting it verbatim. Here is a copy of the template that it's generated from.

  • This ring has just been created, so it's missing a few minor things like member sites and a logo. If you have a site you'd like to have added to the ring, the guidelines and application form are below.
  • I'm no artist, so I need some help in the logo department. If you've created something you think would be good, put it up somewhere and mail me the URL (not the logo itself, please). Logos that I think are cool will be made available here for member sites to add to their pages.

Guidelines

This is primarily a ring for readers of the Usenet newsgroups that make up greater Assville (in order of creation: alt.sex.spanking, soc.sexuality.spanking and alt.sex.spanking.moderated). You can probably guess the primary topic.

Other spanking oriented sites are welcome. Commercial sites are acceptable as long as they are on topic and have at least some publicly accessable content.

Sites must:

  • Have some on topic material.
  • Have the ring linking code on the page linked to.

Sites must not:

  • Contain other people's copyrighted work without permission.
  • Attempt to trap users by killing the back link or opening more than one additional window.
  • Attempt to alter browser start pages.
  • Engage in net abuse.

The RingMaster's decision on the suitability of a site for inclusion in the ring is final. Sites falling out of compliance may be removed without notice.
